Big Lake Property Overview
The Big Lake property is a multi-story, mixed-use facility designed to support hands-on work, training, and on-site living. The main structure measures 40 × 65 feet and features a shop with 20-foot ceilings and 20′-wide by 16′-tall overhead doors, providing ample space for equipment, materials, and large-scale projects.
The building spans three stories, each offering distinct and flexible functionality. The second level includes a 15 × 40 workspace, while the third-story apartment (20 × 40) provides comfortable living quarters for extended stays. An 11 × 40 overlook connects the upper levels visually to the shop below, currently outfitted with sewing machines and wood flooring, creating an ideal environment for fabrication, textile work, and creative production.
Outside, a timber-frame covered work area extends usable space and supports outdoor projects in all seasons. While portions of the property are still under development, the Big Lake site offers strong infrastructure and significant potential for expansion and customization to meet evolving program needs.
